Elisa Buss

Preschool Director

Welcome Elisa! Elisa has dedicated her career to nurturing and educating young children. She began working in early childhood education at Monterey Road Child Development Center from 2005 to 2016, followed by four wonderful years at Monterey Bay Christian School. During this time, she cared for infants and toddlers, served as a lead Pre‑K teacher, and eventually stepped into the role of Preschool Director.

In October 2020, she opened Princess Scarlett’s Daycare, a licensed family child care home built from her passion for creating a safe, loving, and developmentally rich environment for children. She believes every child is unique, learns at their own pace, and thrives best through play. Providing hands‑on experiences, nurturing guidance, and opportunities for joyful learning is at the heart of her work.

Elisa was born and raised on the Monterey peninsula, and moved to Hollister in 2021. She enjoys traveling and has spent time exploring Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Europe. She cherishes her faith, her Italian heritage, and her family. Working in a Christian preschool has been a blessing that shaped her heart, and she is grateful to continue serving families in a way that honors those values.

Elisa joins our preschool for the 2026-2027 school year and is truly honored to be part of our community and to share in your child’s first school experience. It is her privilege to support their growth, celebrate their milestones, and help them discover the joy of learning.

Ms Neusa

Neusa LoBue

Get to know Ms. Neusa (nel-suh)! She is thrilled to be joining the teaching team at Hollister Presbyterian Co-Op Preschool in the fall. Even though she is new to our staff, Neusa has been connected to this preschool community for over 13 years—first as a parent, as all three of her children attended this school, then as an emergency worker, and now as a teacher! This full-circle journey makes her role on staff especially meaningful.

For the past four years, Neusa has been a consistent and familiar presence in our classrooms, where she discovered her passion for supporting young children as they learn, grow, and build confidence. She has completed her Early Childhood Education coursework and is committed to continuing to grow as an educator. Neusa believes children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and encouraged, and she is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing classroom where every child can thrive. As a member of the HPCP family, Neusa feels blessed to help nurture children in an environment rooted in God’s love. She believes each child is uniquely created by God and strives to reflect Christ’s kindness, patience, and compassion in every interaction.

Outside the classroom, Neusa enjoys spending time with her family, being a dedicated sports mom, and cheering on her children at their games. She also serves as team mom for her daughter’s cheer squad and loves making memories with their two dogs, Penny and June. Neusa looks forward to partnering with families to help each child build confidence, develop a love of learning, and create joyful memories during their preschool years!
