Admission Requirements

  • Child must be 3 years old when they begin attending preschool.
  • Child must be toilet trained.
  • Current Immunizations records.
  • State health and TB form signed by physician.

 

Overview of Our Preschool Program

  • Supervised play includes arts and crafts, puzzles, dramatic play, blocks, sand play, cooking projects, carpentry, manipulatives, play dough, and library.
  • Teacher directed music, movement, finger-plays, and stories (including Bible stories).
  • Stimulating fine (small) motor and gross (large) motor development.
  • Sharing experiences for each child.
  • Special events for the holidays, classroom parties, and special guests.
  • Professional photos for each child.
  • Year book for each child.
  • Multiple field trips.

 

General Preschool Information

  • A parent is expected to assist in the classroom on assigned work days, 1 to 3 times per month on a rotating basis.
  • At least one parent must attend the Orientation Meeting and three (3) Mandatory Meetings during the year.
  • Each family is obligated to fulfill 6 volunteer hours during the school term:
    (Project sign-ups are held at the Orientation and Mandatory Meetings.)
  • Our low tuition fee is supplemented by optional fund-raisers throughout the year.

  • To learn to play cooperatively with children his/her own age.
  • To develop intellectual and creative abilities through play experiences.
  • To learn to relate to adults other than his/her own parents.
  • To develop his/her self-esteem and become confident in a school situation.

  • To encourage growth in understanding children and prompt skills to meet their needs, individually and in groups.
  • To promote trust and communication between school and home.
  • To observe your child maturing in both academic and social skills on a monthly basis as you participate in class.

 

What you will experience

As a co-operative preschool parent, you participate in all aspects of the school, whether it is through being involved with daily class activities, classroom maintenance, or other areas. Your contribution will enable you to be fully involved in the nurturing of your child.
